March 27-28, 2012 - JELLO SHOTS!

On Tuesday, we had a Mexican theme night and had green Tequila filled Jello shots - We even had a pinata and played Trivia Pursuit. I even had one for breakfast the next morning. On Wednesday, we had a Disney Princess Party and had red Jello shots. These are great if you like Jello.

March 28, 2012 - Party in my PJs!!

After a long day of horseback riding, Jackie and I made more Jello shots - red ones this time, and had a princess party in our princess PJ's that I brought over from Edmonton. We played Disney Trivial Pursuit (best boardgame EVER!) and wore princess teairas and princess jewelry. We even had purple and pink princess balloons! It was a fun evening!

March 28, 2012 - Horsback riding!

This was one of my most enjoyable moments in Victoria, I mean who doesn't like horses? Anyways, the trails and scenery were beautiful, and I had fun with Jackie picking out cowgirl outfits and matching scarves and cowgirl hats. The only problem was, I could barely walk after that was over.

March 26-27 - Play in the playground like I am a kid again!

Jackie and I went to this beautiful park in Victoria! It was definitely my favourite park! There was a petting zoo, a whole shit load of ducks, and a playground! You could even go to a lookout point to see the ocean! If I lived in Victoria, I'd spend every day at this park!

March 27, 2012 - Took someone else's dog for a walk.

After several little mini-cups of Jell-O, Jackie wanted to put soap in a public fountain. We took her landlord's dogs along (witnesses). I walked the white one. I forget it's name.

March 26 - April 1

I visited Jackie in Victoria (more posts to follow about this event!) I loved Victoria so much and I could definitely see myself living there in the future. I love all the parks and scenery, and I could just imagine how fun the waterfront would be in the summertime! In fact, I was thinking one summer that's just what I would do, book a temporary living accomodations for July and spend the entire summer out there. It would be amazing! Victoria is definately in my top 3 cities in Canada for sure! Next to Quebec City and Edmonton (and thats just cuz I've grown comfortable with this place).

March 26 - April 1 - Left Edmonton for Spring Break

Went to Victoria and Vancouver this week, and despite all the rain, had great visits with Jackie and Joleen! It was so great to get out of Edmonton for the week: I had a blast and lots of laughs. Now on my Lifetime bucket list is to see Victoria in the summer time, when it's sunny out and I can spend time at the ocean! :)

Attended a Concert at the Winspear!

This evening I went to Janelle's concert by myself- The U of A Mixed Chorus Spring Concert! (I also sat beside a really cute looking guy)  It was a very enjoyable and relaxing evening, and was a great way to get outta the house!

March 17, 2012 - Got Drunk Alone!

And who can think of a better way to spend St. Patrick's Day! So after grueling through a boring paper all day and running 8.5 k I decided to treat myself to a party in my cave. Decked out in my Lucky Charms shirt, Green lei and green tiara, I ordered some Veitnamese take out and made myself some Vodka Soda Lime drinks. Snack? Dill Pickle Chips. I watched some movies - 1st Johnny English - and then Circle of Friends (a good Irish movie). Then a little leprechaun told me it would be a good idea to go around the house and steal all the toilet paper. So I did. Then I felt like dancing - so I turned on the Cotton Eye Joe song and had a little ho-down. I also sang some Karaoke songs on Youtube.

I learned 3 lessons this night!

1. You can totally have a good time all by yourself!

2. I'm pathetic. I mean I got drunk alone and bought myself flowers in the same week.

3. Hangovers don't feel good the next day.

March 13, 2012 - Sent myself flowers!

I had these sent to the house today, as a reward for all my hard work in the last couple weeks. Then I brought them to school where I actually have WINDOWS! The bouquet is comprised of my 2 fave flowers, lilies and gerberas. The lilies just opened up this morning! Beautiful!

March 9, 2012 - Karaoke night with Friends!

After hitting up "The Point" Janelle and I decided to go out for a night of singing so that I could cross of #71! What an adventure! We drove around to 4 different Karaoke pubs that were either dead, no longer Karaoke bars, sketchy, and on the fourth one we said, "hey this will do!" We ended up at my old stomping grounds as I used to come to Karaoke here every weekend when I was in university. It was an "interesting" but fun night! We ended our evening doing a Spice Girls duet "If you wanna be my lover!"

March 1 and 2, 2012 - Attend Teacher's Convention on BOTH days!

March 1st - In the morning we attended a fitness dance session where we learned all kinds of hip hop, zumba, swing dance styles and worked up a sweat doing it! I definately got my exercise for the day! Especially the 6 minute squats and lunges track. In the afternoon we attended a Ballroom Dance class which was sooooo much fun! We practiced all kinds of partner dances - Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, ChaCha, Jive and more! It was a fun day!

March 2nd - I attended a half day beginner's drawing course! So relaxing!

I had a very relaxing morning attending an "Anyone Can Draw" class at Teachers Convention! I drew faces, people, houses, cars, dragons, and a city! Check!
